[15thD - Through the Air]

Good!

Notes:
the intro sounded great, very proffesional, but i think it would be great if there was some singing in this! it sounds perfect for singing. like kinda something like that song called Appolagize is what i got from the intro. :P when i heard "oh... that was so awesome!" it really hurt my ears and it made me sad that u ruined this song lol

oh i love trance ^^

Notes:
the intro was a bit weak, but when the piano came in, it made it all better! the synth at 0:50 was perfect. but the gate was not so great... sorry. it wasnt used properly. gates should rarely ever be used as melody synths. more so as back-up synths to fill out the song, so only have it behind ur main instrument.
Rating:
Melody - 2/2 (it sounded very nice, kept me happy :P)
Bassline - 1/2 (wasnt very fond of it to be honest... too fat lol)
Beat/Variety - 1/2 (it was ok)
Mixing - 0/2 (sounded too much like it was going from one to another, have more transitions)
Emotion/Feel/Sound - 2/2 (made me happy to hear such a nice sound ^^)
BONUS POINTS - 2 (for being very original with this genre. plus i like that it's trance)
Final Score - 8/10

Great stuff here, i really enjoyed it :) hope to hear more from you, i like your sound. Reminds me of my old stuff!

When I made this song I didn't know what to put as a good lead.. so I used a gate along with the other one, but yeah, thanks for the review.

other then your mixing, this is a pretty good sounding song. great use of the gates. the melody was just a bit off tho, but it was satisfying. This song could use some work, but its great so far :)

this is brilliant

the feeling givin from this song is very unique. and i love how u used alot of the sounds, instruments and beats, i however didnt exactly like how it was put together, its put together like a trance song O.o but its classical lol (u will understand what i mean if u listen to other classical songs)

Kinda, More or less it was Part A Part B Part B* Part A*. That's if you want to analyze it in a classical view. I built it in my mind as a backing to a video which lead to a weird structure.

i thought about doing more solos and adding to the melody, but the three parts didn't combine at the end when i did that so i decided to keep it simple and jamin. thanks for the review bro. i check out your better off alone remix and really like how you built on the original and also liked the hardcore feel compared to the original.

interesting...

the intro from 0:00 to 0:10 gave this song a good character, gave it what it needed to start off into a great song :) i give that part a 9/10
the beat that started at 0:11 was great, but it needs more variety. i give it 8/10
after those two starting points, there was a progression bassline at 0:34, it was short and sweet, it was good, went with the original bass, but took a bit from the main beat, i give that a 6/10
i didnt like the vocal at 0:57, its used too much and its lost meaning now :o but if i never heard it before, its pretty good :P i'll give it a 7/10
however, i really didnt enjoy the melody/beat thing that started at 1:02... sorry but it wasnt good for any sort of dance melody, uplifting or emotional feeling, it was just a filler, which wasnt expected after the vocal buildup... heh. i give that a 3/10

altogether, with the character and feeling from this song. i noticed you are only 14 and in ur first year of music :) so ill give u an 8 :D

sorry i didnt give much details on every aspect of the song, but i only had a few mins to review :o
